Each Tuesday from February 5th til April 9th from 1-6 pm, volunteers from AARP's Tax Aide program will be at the Wells Public Library to answer tax questions and electronically file income taxes.  This FREE service is offered to taxpayers with low and moderate incomes and gives special attention to people age 60 and older.

 

Appointments are NOT made, this service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.  If a joint return will be filed, both parties must be present.  Required documents:  Social Security cards, income documents, expense documents, brokerage statements, a check with your name printed on it for direct deposit, a copy of last year's tax return, information about your pension or annuity if applicable.
