Title: Internet Safety Workshop for Teens and Their Families
Contact: Kayla Thompson, 646-8181

Digital citizenship and online safety is becoming an increasingly important part of our lives, and our children’s lives. On Thursday, May 16th at 6:30 the Wells Public Library will hold a panel comprised of youth services representatives of the library, the Wells Junior High Librarian, and a representative from the Wells Police Department. They will discuss current issues such cyber bullying, what information is being shared and how it is being shared, and what to do if you find yourself in a situation that makes you uncomfortable. The goal of this panel is to make parents and their children aware of what is happening online, and help create a dialogue between all parties. This event is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. Please contact Kayla Thompson at kthompson@wellstown.org or 646-8181
