Library Card Amendment

The Wells Public Library has recently amended its Library Card Policy to allow legal residents and/or property owners to receive a Wells Public Library resident card. Previously, only legal residents of Ogunquit were included. We are very excited about this change, and welcome all Ogunquit property owners/residents, year-round or seasonal, to obtain a free library card.

Connectivity Issues

Please bear with us as we work on upgrading our service.  Our computers have been experiencing intermittent shutdowns, making internet access problematic.  If a phone call is lost in the middle of speaking with the library, please call back, as this has also been an issue.

Our staff is working to continue providing excellent customer service while also finding ways to work around the loss of internet service.  We appreciate your patience during this time.
