The Friends of the Wells Public Library hold an On-Going Book Sale located on books shelves just inside the main entrance of the library.  Many books are available in paperback and hardcover.  The sale offers many best selling authors, as well as an  assortment of non-fiction and children's books.  The collection is updated on a weekly basis with prices from 25 cents- $5.00.  Open year round during library hours.

The Friends of the Wells Public Library hold an Annual Indoor Book Sale at the library on Route 1 each August. This year's sale will be held on Saturday, August 7th, 2010 from 9am -1 pm.  Several thousand hardcover and softcover books are available. Children’s books are priced at $1 each and 3 for $2.00.  Paperback books range from $.50 to $1.50, and hardcover books from $2 to $5.
