The In-House Ongoing Book Sale
The Friends of the Wells Public Library hold an On-Going Book Sale
located on books shelves just inside the main entrance of the library. Many books are available in paperback and hardcover. The sale offers many best selling authors, as well as an assortment of non-fiction and children's books. The collection is updated on a weekly basis with prices from 25 cents- $5.00. Open year round during library hours
The Annual Book Sale
The Friends of the Wells Public Library will hold their Annual Book Sale in the Wells Junior High Gymnasium, (next door to the library on Route 1) on Saturday, August 8th, 2015. Book sale hours for the general public are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with early admission at 8:30 for Friends of the Library. You can become a Friend at the Wells Public Library, or on the day of the sale pay $5 at the door for early entry. Most book prices range from $.50 to $5.00. Also available are collectors' books, dvd's, videos and cd's.
This year there will also be a special Friends of the Library Members' Night from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, August 7th, 2015. Admission is free for Friends of the Library, and $5 for non Friends.
The Friends of the Wells Public Library are looking for volunteers to help with set-up for the book sale on August 7th and to help with the sale on August 8th. Please contact Mary Goullaud at firstname.lastname@example.org

The Friends of the Wells Public Library gladly excepts one bag or box a week of gently used books in good condition. At this time we are unable to accept the following items:
The library is not able to accept the following materials:
- Vinyl record albums
- Encyclopedias that are older than 3 years
- Computer manuals that are older than 2 years
- Readers Digest Condensed Books
- Magazines (New magazines may be accepted for our “Free Magazine Swap” as space permits.)
